MassDevelopment has promoted Ivette Olmeda to Transformative District Initiative senior fellow and will work a three-year stint in Worcester's Pleasant Street district. Olmeda was the TDI fellow in Worcester's Main South district for the past three years, ending with the neighborhood's graduation from the program in June. During that time, she created the Main South Business Association and worked to advance economic development within the neighborhood. Prior to joining MassDevelopment, she spent 12 years as a program manager for the Center for Women & Enterprise of Central Massachusetts in Westborough, according to a Friday press release from MassDevelopment.
