Updated: 6:56 PM EST Mar 3, 2023 A Massachusetts man has been sentenced in the Portland U.S. District Court for illegally trafficking wild snowshoe hares across state lines. Jon Rioux, 36, of Attleboro, was sentenced to a year of probation and a $10,000 fine, as well as more than $1,800 in restitution to Maine's Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
