ATTLEBORO, M.A. (WLNE) — After last week's severe flooding across Southern New England, the mayor of Attleboro is urging Massachusetts residents to complete an online survey in an effort to receive federal assistance. Mayor Cathleen DeSimone said the impacts in Attleboro vary, with some residences seeing lots of water and multiple downtown businesses impacted from the river overflowing. The Massachusetts Management Agency will take the surveys from residents impacted by flooding to start building a case to potentially unlock federal funds.
