Mansfield, North Attleboro, Stoughton, and Weymouth. The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado and is still investigating the damage in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Witnesses described the storm as rain going sideways and strong winds causing sparks from electrical lines. Residents reported flooding, cars hydroplaning, and damage to property including fallen trees, fences, and damaged ceilings. Despite the chaos, residents consider themselves lucky with only peripheral damage and a messy pool.
